Visions of our leaders - Ever growing India!!!
A rare interview! Let me say it - True leaders with a vision and who carry that burden in the heart and mind in every step they take is very very rare !
I am so glad i am from a nation where even if people in billions throw crap at their leaders there are true intellects and visionaries and many with superb execution capabilities and Boldness!
Our vision has always been a global one with India's rightful place in the global arena and stand united with its immense diversity at all costs (sacrifices and years of painful efforts was needed)
Shame on those who misuse and try to politicize issues in democracy at personal and religious /communal levels. I hope the great vision builds up more and more as our great leaders had! Where India will be a great friend of humanity and its people will be the most joyous God willing!
I hope and pray our future and younger generations will never forget to understand where and how we came to now! Sacrifices made in the journey, the pains and pangs of a rich democracy a vibrant nation called India where Humanity Thrives for Humanity!

Happy Independence Day
My heartiest wishes to all compatriots and well wishers of India. Dear all,
I am revisiting the blog an year ago and republishing the same.
A joy I share as we all do in the richness and glory of our Nation's freedom. Happy Independence day to all.
There is nothing more precise that the speech Nehru delivered on the eve of Independence I believe which encompasses the aspirations and dreams of a nation. We are on way and long way more to go. I think every sentence in this short speech is so precise and precious.
Take a few minutes to read the speech . Every word matters and is precise!
Let us be tireless in our efforts ahead too.
Quoting:
"Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance. It is fitting that at this solemn moment, we take the pledge of dedication to the service of India and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity. At the dawn of history, India started on her unending quest, and trackless centuries are filled with her striving and grandeur of her success and failures. Through good and ill fortune alike, she has never lost sight of that quest, forgotten the ideals which gave her strength. We end today a period of misfortunes and India discovers herself again. The achievement we celebrate today is but a step, an opening of opportunity to the greater triumphs and achievements that await us. Are we brave enough and wise enough to grasp this opportunity and accept the challenge of the future? Freedom and power bring responsibility. The responsibility rests upon this Assembly, a sovereign body representing the sovereign people of India. Before the birth of freedom, we have endured all the pains of labour and our hearts are heavy with the memory of this sorrow. Some of those pains continue even now. Nevertheless, the past is over and it is the future that beckons us now. That future is not one of ease or resting but of incessant striving so that we may fulfill the pledges we have so often taken and the one we shall take today. The service of India means, the service of the millions who suffer. It means the ending of poverty and ignorance and disease and inequality of opportunity. The ambition of the greatest men of our generation has been to wipe every tear from every eye. That may be beyond us, but as long as there are tears and suffering, so long our work will not be over. And so we have to labour and to work, and to work hard, to give reality to our dreams. Those dreams are for India, but they are also for the world, for all the nations and peoples are too closely knit together today for any one of them to imagine that it can live apart. Peace is said to be indivisible, so is freedom, so is prosperity now, and also is disaster in this one world that can no longer be split into isolated fragments. To the people of India, whose representatives we are, we make an appeal to join us with faith and confidence in this great adventure. This is no time for petty and destructive criticism, no time for ill-will or blaming others. We have to build the noble mansion of free India where all her children may dwell.
The appointed day has come -the day appointed by destiny- and India stands forth again, after long slumber and struggle, awake, vital, free and independent. The past clings on to us still in some measure and we have to do much before we redeem the pledges we have so often taken. Yet the turning-point is past, and history begins anew for us, the history which we shall live and act and others will write about. It is a fateful moment for us in India, for all Asia and for the world. A new star rises, the star of freedom in the East, a new hope comes into being, a vision long cherished materializes. May the star never set and that hope never be betrayed! We rejoice in that freedom, even though clouds surround us, and many of our people are sorrow-stricken and difficult problems encompass us. But freedom brings responsibilities and burdens and we have to face them in the spirit of a free and disciplined people. On this day our first thoughts go to the architect of this freedom, the Father of our Nation, who, embodying the old spirit of India, held aloft the torch of freedom and lighted up the darkness that surrounded us. We have often been unworthy followers of his and have strayed from his message, but not only we but succeeding generations will remember this message and bear the imprint in their hearts of this great son of India, magnificent in his faith and strength and courage and humility. We shall never allow that torch of freedom to be blown out, however high the wind or stormy the tempest. Our next thoughts must be of the unknown volunteers and soldiers of freedom who, without praise or reward, have served India even unto death. We think also of our brothers and sisters who have been cut off from us by political boundaries and who unhappily cannot share at present in the freedom that has come. They are of us and will remain of us whatever may happen, and we shall be sharers in their good [or] ill fortune alike. The future beckons to us. Whither do we go and what shall be our endeavour? To bring freedom and opportunity to the common man, to the peasants and workers of India; to fight and end poverty and ignorance and disease; to build up a prosperous, democratic and progressive nation, and to create social, economic and political institutions which will ensure justice and fullness of life to every man and woman. We have hard work ahead. There is no resting for any one of us till we redeem our pledge in full, till we make all the people of India what destiny intended them to be. We are citizens of a great country on the verge of bold advance, and we have to live up to that high standard. All of us, to whatever religion we may belong, are equally the children of India with equal rights, privileges and obligations. We cannot encourage communalism or narrow-mindedness, for no nation can be great whose people are narrow in thought or in action. To the nations and peoples of the world we send greetings and pledge ourselves to cooperate with them in furthering peace, freedom and democracy. And to India, our much-loved motherland, the ancient, the eternal and the ever-new, we pay our reverent homage and we bind ourselves afresh to her service."

a strong lady!
A strong woman who shouldered the heaviness of leadership without losing the vision and dreams! @ 2:49 she says her analysis clear. The topic in the clip is around the 71 war though! Many of the resilient systems in the nation was built by her a strong woman and leader surprisingly in soft voice in the interview even when at times it was chaos at macro level. At micro levels visions were dispersed thought at that point and we have come a long way. but still there are micro current dragging growth which i think the coming generations will grow up to see it all as a global citizen the vision and view of all great Indian leaders and it is very right too.
At one point she understood and realized on the visions of Nehru for nation and the scattered and untied hopes of millions had to be built strong and she got strong really strong that it even costed her life.
Even today there are people who view things with a very differently and do not open to understand the visions and the stand of India in the world blinded by micro currents and bursts by local leaders who at times just want to hold on to power and create hype and noise.
But the turbulence of these micro whirls will some day die off and its happening sooner the ever before.
Well Soft and strong a great lady who saw her country to the future and carried the ambition and burden of a million people and their hopes at that time! Today we stand strong even if ppoor because of people like them and many more all across the nation. Lest we forget..
And when the questions get more specific she comes out of her real..wah!
Yes those days where very different when any one said/heard the name India.

The Indian Innings - Yet another/ same story of India???
Seeing the Indian inning highlights below in the 10 minute video, we see only the significant moments. However, there were a lot of silent, confusing, racing against time / fate moments. With all but hope & Indian spirits through out the Indian inning which i had to watch in the waiting room of Mumbai airport as i was taking the flight back to Tokyo that night. The room was so silent and strained except for the shots. Even i had got interested watching the game after years together! Watch the video below and i feel some how it says the story of India. I clearly see a pattern mostly seen in India and projects happening in India as in the case of an Indian wedding. Chaos , racing, chasing, confusion, fights, sweat, emotions, Passion, Struggle,Hope, Dreams all to culminate in style and celebration to be remembered for ever those colorful, tasty moments & experience.
Similar was India soon after Independence and we had sudden shocks as soon as we started in terms of wars (as the first 2 wickets where we lost great players).
Then India struggles to fight on only to see the next 2 wickets when it looks to me like the time of IMF pressured repays where we almost went bankrupt. It was like we were cast under embargoes when Gambhir lost his wicket 4 runs short of a century.
But we still kept it on...and did not forget to grow to develop bit by bit, invest in the right shots... and then the newer generations come in and continue to fight along all in Hope and Dream for the nation.
Even with near bankrupt and we had no other go but to fight on among struggles was like the sinking moments when the needed runs were many a times to high compared to the remaining balls, we still kept our hope, dreams and struggle and above all our prayers on in one heart and thought!
Around 2 overs left and then we opened up our Economy with the resources we have and the capabilities we built. Then on the story started taking decisive leaps. The last shot from Dhoni strikes.. and we finish in style.
Donn we see the Indian story in almost every celebration we have. I believe the nation has in it tenacious and persistent qualities which guarantees celebrations and moment we will cherish! Vande Mataram! Keep going and Lots to do still.. God with us!

Wow!! adventures with smiles & perfect direction handling
If you are to spend time in HK international airport the best thing is to sleep and mind it never keep your transit time short here..God knows how many gates they have in what all directions. The website claims 2 terminals and connected by walkway. But the fact is walkways and walkways are like in an inception/matrix graphix style regenerating one after the another.Well at one corners of the airport are the commercial areas and with may be couple of storeys. A meal HK style could go anywhere from 30$ to 100$:)
And adventure is free of cost here. ask anything out of the world you want to any shop they say straight not in this shop but another and direct you to gate 28 and then from there to 45 and then from there to next shop before you get the next stop to gate 2
Seriously looks like they are trained to do this.
Another interesting thing is announcements. Its either about the final call and with a specialized panic tone (looks like they want to let the flights take off before schedule!) Else the announcements are about change of gates:) (mind it gate no:s are several and God knows there is even a 500 series..) very kindly announced and double repeat the new gate!
The best thing about this place is just the wifi free but with a crappy agreement page you need to click before you start using. God knows why you need a laptop browser like safari , chrome or IE to start using it.
Well i had a long walk in the 7 hour break before settling down for a sweet spot as they are still unaware on which gate the flights will be enlisted. And to my question any regular gates for the flights to India? Not everyday Random with a great smile (May be Macau is too close that almost everything seems random here.)
And for the Japanese they attempt an arigathou when you leave the shop or else they very happily say Bye Bye:):):) when you just cross the door.
Oh my ....there was the tenth gate change announcement in the last 20 minutes.
Most interesting part is Coke / pepsi vending machines only in smoke rooms. Huh! Every other shop sells ochas or water! Cannot understand. Need to look at the reasons later!!! Interesting though!
well i need to start my next adventure to start the treasure hunt to spot my real gate! Hope it goes well!:) Remember adventure is free of cost with smiles adn extended support .Ask any one here :)
I can imagine if some one says they love HK airport!

The Story of India...
A real good series! (Links re edited in 2014 Jan, sorry this may keep changing and you may need searcxh using the Doc name and series names) - Documentary from BBC on the story of India. Each of the part is about 10 minutes and some loner. But worth watching. Listing the links below.
There is indeed a vedic inclination and the Buddhist influence in the history of the study done! But interesting indeed on the path of civilization across west asia(aka today the Middle east) to Indian subcontinent. Even with an excerpt from Tharoor on the epic Mahabharata !The journey explores Afghanistan, China and pakistan along side on the trade routes. And we start to take the global steps on the way..
You may find some drops in between the parts. sorry.. will patch up when I can!
In India we have learned history but it makes deeper a look at this turning point of India!
My sincere appreciation to Micheal Woods and the team who did the story travelling across the region and criss crosses of India!
|| Beginnings || Part 1: || Part 2: || Part 3: || Part 4: || Part 5: || Part 6a || Part 6b || Part 7: || Part 8: || Part 9: || Part 10: ||
|| The Power of Ideas Part 2 ||
|| Spice routes Silk Roads PartA || PartB || PartC || PartD ||
A cycle of History and the new ages begin || Ages of Gold PartA ||
|| The meeting of Two Oceans PartA ||
||Freedom Part A || The best conclusion ever I have seen in a documentary. Precisely covering the cycle of time and the tryst with destiny helping realise the power and significance of every single word in that speech on the day of independence.
I was AMAZED how true it is today that the focus transcended through the years as he mentions in the closing statements of the documentary and just amazed because of the Vision of Nehru turning so true never lost over the struggling years of building of this great democracy!
The words quoted from the Nehru's Tryst with Destiny speech on the eve of Indian Independence the dawn of history -
"It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of India and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity.
At the dawn of history India started on her unending quest, and trackless centuries are filled with her striving and the grandeur of her success and her failures. Through good and ill fortune alike she has never lost sight of that quest or forgotten the ideals which gave her strength. We end today a period of ill fortune and India discovers herself again"
Yes, Today India discovers herself again - The ancient, The Eternal and the ever new!

Leadership stretched out flat on a flat world!
Well what may people say? some times integrity of the systems is painful in a leader's journey!
But..
If, the world has seen a real leader, with long term global vision & solid strategy who smiled with the heaviness of leadership and the vision and understanding for the modern geopolitical order its, George W Bush! (you may have comments, likes & dislikes, but to me, we need to really look at his leadership &wait on time to see his strategies work out even with the newers messing around!)Real amazing case for analysts
Putting it on record and Hats off to GWB!~

A Modern Growth story or a Story of growth in the Modern world?
"Given the choice between doing business in China or India, most foreign investors would probably pick China, The Economist said. "But as the global economy becomes more knowledge-intensive, India's advantage will grow."
Yeah this is the story of Indian in itself too.
Knowledge intensive is changing the perspectives within India as well and as many in India realise now! The world will realise too.
-> Many will feel sorry for the chances they missed.
-> Many will be glad they risked to bet on India.
-> Many will feel frustrated they knowingly or unknowingly exited India once.
-> Many will grow and reap the returns where we give every one a chance!
Well i always wonder when, we are allowing FDIs and FIIs, even at the cost of a huge economic differentials as in interest rates and returns for instance, why??
We can always limit them and safe guard the inflation and the national economic status.
It is the heritage and culture we carry that we sacrifice many for the humanity and the world but please this means in no ways an easy ride for any one who thinks they can fool around! Some where beyond 1947 when the nationalistic Nehruvian dream engines started raoring we decided to regulate as and when required. I just love the words Demography, Democracy , Diversity all in India :)
Volume build up comes as a part of the package and indeed to be frank no one in India is focusing on Volume build up. Rate of growth will be a impressive and ofcourse when we say the largest market- is it because of the amount of people or the buying power and style of people?
The topic is getting interesting day by day and this will indeed be one of the tremendous and mystic growth story of the modern age where industrial growth or industrial revolution will no longer be a key factor of growth!

Shifts....in 40 years?
There it is!.. Some times we need geniuses/experts to speak for people to believe!
Crisp Clear and nicely told by Rosling Hans!
Modern History will repeat and hence be prepared/ be on alert on distractors as usual.
And how did Rosling start off is more interesting! Hear here on how it happened.
And what is interesting is that even in this new order and setup we need and have a lots to learn, learn to accept , to adjust, to cooperate at different levels and many more brilliant things.. Interesting! Human force will be the Engine and Money may be able to buy products and services but it would be a tough bargain for the real brains! Economic shift alone will not be the reason for the power shifts. There are more to it!! Undisclosed ...:)

Demo Graphics...
Interesting excerpt from an India times areticle below.
In terms of the demographic transition model, India is at the beginning of stage three (declining fertility, population growth), Brazil and China are at stage four (low mortality and fertility, population trending towards stability), while Russia is already at stage five (sub-replacement-rate fertility, declining population).
Stage one refers to a pre-industrial society wherein death and birth rates are high and roughly in balance. While, in stage two (that of a developing country), the death rates drop rapidly due to improvement in food supply and sanitation, which increase life spans and reduce diseases.

Together we are.......... India!
A generation united with this song!An now the baton is being handed over to the new minds and generations making the bond even stronger. In this 16 minute video India in its variety of costumes , languages, People and generation are bonded in oneness the Apna Bharat!
There were days when this was the main thing that we have had on TV in its limited hours of transmission per day. Those days are now changed that we don't have time enough to watch all of it. The older version and the first Media initiative which slowly and steadily build the united India after its independence is there on my older blog here.
Mind it world! we may look different, sound different, Dress different, Speak different, Do different, Cook different,Sing different, dance different but we all are one in the unfathomable INDIA..You travel for few hours and you reach a foreign place. Our first taste of globalization has come through this song i would say.
Now we are in an India the most free Secular democratic republic powered by its intellects. Still the world things many things on the 3rd world. But the days have come when the 3rd ranks better than the first in many ways never told or seen. A place where even those who cannot speak contribute and enjoy as every other free citizen, where women stand along with the men determined and strong. Life to be enjoyed nowhere else like in India its taste, its colours, its smell its rawness, its culture and many things - all brought together in this small song which always connected us all. Well we go and and a lot to do and cover for the billion population still growing and contributing peacefully!
Enjoy as we take it forward with more colour and in an younger new generations!

Story of an Indian...
I am not sure how many people from which all places can tell such stories between the extremes of life. It is an amazing story and Education that equals us all and humbles us all and even more empowers the nation.
Oh I do remmeber once while travelling in Himalayas, meeting young sheperd boys who walked across hills and mountains for 3-4 hours one way to school from they huts.
Read through some amazing stories here.
We know why we have that great hope and the daring to dream in India! Life badal jayega!

The Dream gets stronger each day!
Leaders are every where! But True Indian leaders who are capable and needed masters of this changing world are few. Here is a great picture of two of them and you can know it if you read on what they had to say! The 2 page article referes to the excerpts from their session in WDC.
India continues to dream because the Indian's have still a lot to dream about!

A brilliant analysis from a Swedish researcher. Hans Rosling has covered the major practical factors in his software assisted analysis to really show on to the reality of whats going on with India.
As you may have noted in the earlier blogs also the per person worth and income is set to just scale up in a few more years.
Very real interesting interview here

He has in many ways proved that experiencing India is the only way to realise life and all about India and the Future!

Wow what a verse!
“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)

The Power shift..
281 Billion $ @ Year 1991 --->463 Billion $ @Yr 2001 ---> 1.2 trillion $ @Yr 2009
This is the story of the growth of the Indian economy starting from the year of liberalisation brought on to India by the then Finance Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan singh. With this genius in the driving seat of our Nation we are moving ahead and the worth of the nation has turned into Trillions meaning every one of the billion population is worth a Million $ ?
But how can this be justified in terms of the economics statistics at every level of the population?
Excerpt from the wikipedia article'
As of 2009, about 300 million people — equivalent to the entire population of the entire United States — has escaped extreme poverty.[2] The fruits of liberalization reached their peak in 2007, with India recording its highest GDP growth rate of 9%.[3] With this, India became the second fastest growing major economy in the world, next only to China.[4]. An Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) report states that the average growth rate 7.5% will double the average income in a decade, and more reforms would speed up the pace.[5]'
However the outlook within India needs to radically change that we ned to understand every citizen of us is worth more than we think as of today! In every way, India's best wealth is our people itself! With the worth of citizens coming up comes the Super power qualities of the nation. I am not against at all in recognising one fine day that we are already a super power :) But if we know where we are heading to we can drive on the best possible routes and enjoy the ride too with all those travelling on the same roads.
With Agriculture and Greener investments being the tommorrow's growth areas,we defenitely need to see How India fares! As we are very much by volume economical dependent on Agriculture and its outcome, we are staning at the entrance of another Greener Revolution Efficient and Enabled Agricultural Economy. Gear up! Farming is goona be the next world wide fashion wave soon!
The power shift is happening in the Socio Economic lines. From west to the East. ITs high time we realise India is right at the centre from the day we started calling the west and the East :)
Take a quick look on the Private consumption patterns from McKinsey. No wonders!!! GDP as such is contributed from the Private consumption directly along with other factors. [GDP = private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports − imports)]
But great to know why there is so much life in India and its Economy.
See the interactive predictions at theeir site here.

True leaders..
Some True leaders are rarely understood by many, but some leaders can understand them.
I was listening to the speech from G.W.Bush at the HT summit. Indeed a true leader as i always felt to who could stand up to any one in the world on behalf of a big nation!
Growth !!! Can we count like every person in India is worth a million$ ? and see where we are going to be..
See the speech here.
Some key words:
Moment of clarity
History will tell
India's passport to the world.
Intervened Early, Intervened aggressively, Intervened together.
Shifted from the West to East
G20 and not the G8
History will Show that with your strong Economic growth you are helping lead the world to a recovery.
Thanks to HT for this forum and also letting the whole of India and world have access to the key events such as these.

God's Economy!
Very interesting and thought provoking. God speaks in many ways!
God promises those who place their trust in Him He will keep from going hungry. He will make sure our children have plenty, and He will give us wealth to store up for our children. That doesn't mean wealth like our world defines it. Jesus said that He doesn't give as the world gives. In God's economy, wealth exists in hope, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control. Unlike money, these are the things that last, and bring about eternal blessings.
Excerpt from a daily devotion!
The verse on which the devotion is done :Lord is our Refuge:
"You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor, but the Lord is their refuge."
Psalm 14:6 (NIV)

Too young to understand!
Geocities! well thats where it all started for me on internet blogging and web presence. And now the news of its shut down. see below from the spokement at Yahoo.
While many Internet users have long abandoned GeoCities, the Web was filled with nostalgia on Monday. "RIP GeoCities" was a trending topic on Twitter, where one user summed up his feelings in a sub-140-word blast.
"If you're making fun of GeoCities dying," he wrote, "you're too young to understand."
I really agree to the last quote and this is not just the case with geocites but with many of the easy things and the tough things the people on internet see.
The newer on the front sometimes seems to think life got tooo very easy, but they mostly never think on the path we reached at this point. Somtimes things have to be understood the hard way may be!Well this is seen in many many cases these days and i wonder, are they too young to understand?
Well even i am too young to understand many things i guess :)
My First site on Geocities. Check here. A a big thanks to Yahoo Geocities.
The news of closure here.

Tata Sama...
This is what Tata said on thinking big: "We have been...thinking small. And if we look around us, countries like China have grown so much by thinking big. I would urge that we all, in the coming years, think big, think of doing things not in small increments, not in small deltas, but seemingly impossible things. But nothing is impossible if you really set out to do so. And we act boldly. Because it is this thinking big and acting boldly that will move India up in a manner different from where it is today."
Agree every word of it and we are on it too!!! One reson is because we had needs for our billions of stomachs and life starved out of looting fomr one of the most richest civilisations. Yet our cultural riches we never gave up and now its time to scale up! We will! and Defenitely we will! Think Big in small groups as a Big nation of Millions of brilliant minds and intellects framed on the greatest and diverse culture and experiences!
Our respect and appreciation to the great minds like Tata who has played key roles in making India what it is today and several more names in Space technology and who have worked on making India a self sufficient nation right from Green and white revolution to the Services for the world in various fields of life.
Let us not forget the investment and sacrifices they made to today's build generation of India strong and big to stand at par with the big powers in just 60 years and Billion population. We could do it because we are capable , graced by God and some of our leaders dared to think big and chase our dreams with our never give up attitude. We have still to go a long way We need the generations to be built even stronger and bigger and we only can do it.. I do not compare with the rest of the world as our line of growth may be entirely different at a different plane all together.
Fly On India Fly on...

Changes!
Oh Yeah changes are pacing up! Even if the article slideshow is on India, I am sure some things shown are common across world. But some Specific to India will change or be rarer to see.
Its goona be tough eexplaining and educating our own Just in India and specific cultural aspects of India and its states and people and way of living to the upcoming generations.
Atlease our generation has seen several of the fusion modes where we have flavours modern things with the Indian touch to most of it. But i think the changes are so rapid these days that they will soon be pics and clips of the past!
We are changing at a fast pace as we wanted always, but defenite that we are going to miss many things. Those many things which make you miss India. Many will still remain but it’s a question how many more generations can take it forward the specialities and uniqueness from the past. SOme things for sure will never die out on India but some may become rare and some rarer I think!

A fabulous leader and Human being i would say
Passion and good will drives him and its real smartness that sets him apart. All thumbs up for his initiatives and i respectfully acknowledge his role in changing the world and empowering millions around the world.
Specially his connection with India for years now, has been wonderful and rewarding and he is indeed helped our nation to be empowered with the right choices and decisions that he made too and influenced.Really smart and a genius in my eyes one who really understands what India stands for. As a nation we indeed are indebted to him and the contributions in empowering millions in our nation too and India will never forget such people and as i always quote :You will get your investments multiplied in India and with Indians .Its upto you what to invest the good or the bad!

We Decide what we need to do and how we respect.
WE told them on behalf of the nation but no one listened and Gandhi's grandson too did request but no heed. But then we have smarter ways to do things and once we decide no one in the world can change that!
We have our own ways in line with the ways of the world. If there is a proce we will pay it but we will not let things go by! India Marching ahead in the great footsteps of Gandhi!

Season's greetings
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” (Luke 2:11-14)
Season's greetings to all!
May this Christmas be a peaceful, joyous and a blessed one!
The love and joy of the birth of our savoiur may reign in our lives and heart this season and be joyous in sharing the good news! The times may be tougher than ever but the promise, joy, redemption and hope that Christ our saviour brought to this world because of His eternal love for us overcomes all of what we are seeing and going through today!
Indeed missing those childhood days of preparations of christmas tree and the decorations and the carols and Santas...The season filled with practices and carol singing during the four years at college and so on!Looking forward for wonderful days to come:)
Missing the past, living joyously the present and hoping in faith for that beautiful days to come!
Rememeber the good news is for all but first given to the poor sheperds in field.Adding one of my ever time favourite carols 'The First Noel' here and few more and wishing your the greatest time of all. Be merry and joyous as you spend this time with your loved ones! Also wishes to a blessed and wonderful new year! Have fun this season!

A day that would change and charge India forever!!!
Hebrews 10:30-31
“Vengeance belongs to me; I will pay them back,”[p] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[q] 31It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
November 27 2008: I woke up to an early day and with meetings and early meetings in mind and while rushing dressing and geting ready switched on the CNN News to see the shocking developments in India. I scrambled to find my mobile and wanted to call dad who was in Mumbai.Praise God that my Dad was by His grace in a different hotel this time while on his 1 week business trip in Mumbai. Praise God and now he has flew back to Cochin this evening cancelling all the schedules next 2 days!
We regret that many of our guests and tourist too were affected and some had to even face tragic loses while they were with us! But India as a nation among all these chaos are determined to Pin the culprits and bring them to Justice and we will take all it needs to do that!
Where we consider and treat our guests as God, it is with great regret and out of our culture and tradition to accept or imagine anything like this.
Our prayers and support are with all who are facing the real situation. We salute and respect all the law enforcement agencies and army and commando personnels invovled in the fight to restore normalcy in Mumbai India.
India will try our best to not let people take things for Granted in India. I am sure all Indians will stand together in this new challenge we are facing. Indian all around the world are with
I really appreciate the support that all the nations are giving in this cause and India will not leave this lose for sure! Read here.
It is high time that we have internal organisations sifting thru the nation and it people to spot among the millions and billions of bright minds those ones which carry this great evil in their heart! I definitely feel that the whole world has just one common enemy now the terrorists.
The Armed forces and special forces I hope will be able to secure the situation with God's grace soon.
India is never going to be shaken and withered by these futile attempts but these make us even stronger and more challenging! We will be back soon and even more different and innovative and mind it to those who are trying to play around stupid will not be allowed to ride as they need!
India sees all as Human and do not intend to harm anyone! But we have it in our culture to give back multi fold what we receive! So You know what it means!
i Reports from CNN here
Details here!
Our dreams which started from our freedom never die and nothing can tire us! With God we are powerful and we will keep moving ahead and right on track in flight!

Father's love
One of the most profound verses from the word of God!
'For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son to die for us that we may have eternal life.'
Here is a nice cinematic picturisation of this verse and i would say this verse has the whole meaning of the Faith in Lord. This video will definitely help us understand what sacrifices mean when you want to save someone.
And this sacrifce is the eternal bridge between God and all those whom He loves and it is our choice to take that narrow way and the Bridge His son and Sacrifice the only path to Eternal life.
The journey may be tough but the Love, the joy, peace and Hope is the good news of ths journey and God's grace and mercy will guide us through!

Right on track to the beyond!!!
A great moment in the history of India.Once looted and later denied with all the technical and scientific support, India sacrificed a lot to bring up a generation of great minds and focussed professionals.
Added is the clipping form BBC on the news release.
Chandrayan - Means in Sanskrit the journey to moon.(Surprising may be on how such an ancient language had this science fiction word in those times:))
Chandrayan 1 blasted off on 22 October 2008 morning and making all of us proud and confirming our capabilities and competence.Even if it costs 80 Mn on the project, perfectly balanced expenditure from India and well spend when big tanks are scrapping their space programs we are right on track with never retiring think tanks like APJ. But of course there will be fuss on this within our nation also on if the money was well spent. India is guided by 2 top world class economists at the moment with a panel of very appreciative personnel who are making sure that we come back and keep our heads high. From a looted history we needed 60 years to reach this stage and yes there is no doubt we are right on track and the balance of growth is through out the nation with lot of the new generation bright minds being educated and at the same time building the future and needs of the nation very tactically and precisely.
We have had real tough times to feed almost too many hungry stomachs and when our reserves were twice emptied. But backed by a scientific and professional community with a strategic and visionary government we have come a long way!
Yes Biz trips to moon from India are not a far thing I would say. I have that kind of confidence in my fellow country men and the brilliant minds who are driving these with lot of sacrifices in their times! They have built our generation and also no are building India along with us! Be a part of it in all ways possible and not miss this golden opportunity when we make that beautiful climb! But at times tough of course!
A dream set by Vikram Sarabhai and Jawahar Lal Nehru and carried on my people like APJ and Madhavan nair. Of course others may also be involved as my friend mentioned there are more poster boys. But for me at least these are the key architects supported by brilliant professionals.
In fact this was one of the cheapest of all such project done by the rest 5 predecessors and carrying the various foreign payloads to moon.
This achievement indeed shows the technical and strategic capabilities India as a nation have and its aspirations which where many a times battered by the so called powerful. India 2020 is the dream we all are working for!
Note: the added Snap shot (expand for reading data on it) courtesy: Hindustan times release and the clipping a recording of BBC news I shot in Tokyo.

Well, Creativity was always thought to be natural. Well doesn't seem any more! The latest from the scientific fraternity is something entirely different though. When you need it you could be simulated to be Creative. Read about the Magic cap here.Wear it and Turn on your creativity. Well ask me and I would never wanna cap my creativity :)
Whatever we do we can never achieve the beauty, grace, greatness and mastership of our Creator our God!
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

A changing world!
The days are closer?
The world is changing?
The west has forgot to work the way they should?
Are things being taken for granted?
What would be the world in a few days?
Is change happening to very fast?
Are the identities being diluted and new ones being framed on the International Panorama?
Is Economy the given stamp of power?
What once was looted, has the time come that they all get back it to the owners?
We drove the markets and industries through speculations and patterns. We built up a lot of things and changes the world in the past decade but Now changes in other directions are they happening too fast and its like a slow climb and a free fall?
When there is a Lord and His promises why we still love to speculate?
We still love to speculate, Speculation and that remains the culprit. That seems to be the cards on which the power shift is happening?
Well questions could be lots. But it is sure that this generation has seen change for the god over years and change for the bad over days and even in hours. We made industries such as Investment banks and it is almost the time that such a word has no more identity in world and the power and magnetism of Investment banking seems to be gone! The name seems to be a small word in the whole verse in the big book of the world used in a chapter and forgotten soon.
The perspectives are changing, Limits are being tested, the concepts of management are being re written and the false assumptions are being shaken and pictures are being washes shapeless as a water drenched painting. But till many call it art :)
The world is challenging and this is where the action is! The world markets are blinking all over in red coloured letters and arrows pointing downwards. Well still I would say the opportunities have multiplied in the world today. Why is no one not realising it? Everyone seems to be so mulled by on the crash and the speculations on what next.
Lot of reaction and reactive acts happening in the market and worldwide. Are you thinking this is going to solve the crisis and the recovery is definite? I would say that still the world is not getting what is going wrong.
Is oil the real cause? Is the speculative markets that is the real cause. Is the discrimination and the racial prides still causing the problems? The picture is even bigger. Its pride and fear that the power drains out.
It has been sad to hear of the happenings in India too where lot of Christians are being tortured and churches being gutted and destroyed. Reason??? Even I am not sure why in a secular land these things are happening. Politics, Money, the fear of losing and everything with reactive unthought-of actions by the so called leaders without even managerial capabilities of parties and groups is causing this problem?
The questions are so many ad answers and opinions could be even more.
But I just put them here because we all need to think for some time and pray about them. World changes so suddenly and life changes along with. But there are certain things which never change. The love of our Lord, His forgiveness, His care and grace, His joy and Hope. But still we all are worried.
Why I think we are nothing in front of the mustard seed and it looks impossible that our faith can be as great a a mustard. See our calculations are wrong here boy!
we say we are thinking big but at least as big as a mustard seed?
Matthew 17:19-20 "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, 'Why could we not cast it out?' He said to them, 'Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
The point is .
Have the right faith and dependencies.
Know before we react how insignificant our reaction could be but our response may be important.
We need to change or we need to really understand that we have been wrong always.
Believe in the truth and have the faith, Speculations are out of the list of words you would need to use.
The current world is the best filled with opportunities and creative openings The world has ever been better with opportunities.
See the right picture
Management is all about the people and how you keep them and serve them.
Prayer is a definite solution and prayer work itself. Just need to wait in faith.
2008 would be remembered for many things churning, falling and clearing out :) Be a part of it. Hold on to firm things and this is vital to enjoy the ride!
The world being uncertain or we being uncertain? Still we love to speculate, but neatly miss the things which are so definite. Got the faith and nothing else is the winning strategy.

She had it in her and nothing can steal her of that! India within an Indian
I just loved her! The reason? She was just speaking it loud and clear but not with an intention of hurting any but just letting people realise wat actually is the inevitable and the truth.
Nikita Lalwani an Indian born and brought up in Britain was talking on Hard Talk BBC when I noticed her for the first time. What impressed me is her wonderful and straight talking of the truth. Very much as many of us think of the truth of India and the Indians elsewhere.Even more amazing as when she answered so perfectly the questions that were thrown at her.
As i have already mentioned in many of my earlier blogs the time will realise and prove the truth that the discriminated Indian community worldwide can never be forgotten and taken for granted. The quesion whether her next novel would be based on India? And she answers of course its started on India.
While she was a student she dropped out of Oxford and after working in BBC she left to write the novel and wen asked why is it because there is something special in Britian?
The answer was clear this time that she always was considered as a minority still as many others along with some other factors. She never talked so straight in many answers may be that is in our culture not to blame on such things as excuses, but facts are facts.
It is not her alone but many more are contributing and giving the best and getiing placed proeprly as they are driving world over many many operations and projects.
The spread out is exaclty looking perfect with my earlier predictions and if this pattern analysis stays good we will see a changing world. The best part which still is a mystery for me is that the NRI and the Indian residents still all think so much alike in many terms even when diversities such as economical differences exist. the Power and passion of Indians were overwritten by the glamour and pompous stories told by the west. But the time is coming when there could be a day when things would be stand still without Desis.
Beautiful and elegant Indian origin News readers on International channels husains patels, guptas and so on...Turn around CEOs and Managers and so are the varied placements at which the Indian ethics and professionalism is contriubuting. Not the personal pride but indeed i am proud on the fact that i am an Indian and I am along with many other Indians are contributing to the humanity silently an happily in India and worldwide.
It is staggering to hear that in Bangalore itself there is a great no: in 1000s the RNRIs the retured NRIs contributing to the real India who has always been sacrificing for the global humanity.
One of my colleauge commented that he has heard the annoying Indian music which they often play in Indian restaurant in a kidding and joking manner.I do not blame him or many of the similar cmments from the west,Even though I could not but would be telling himl later or sooner that If you need to understand and enjoy Indian music then you need to really know and feel the beat of life and for that He has to experience India.
Let me tell you nothing can explain it but for the Indian experience! Ths experience in richness cannot stay below the powers of domiance in now ways and will surface gloriously through man similar young Indians like Nikita Lalwani.

What if kids like him get to school?
I did have an earlier post on him (link below), but this one is much more an indepth interview.
My question is He could not attend school for some reason, But what if we had send him to school. Could you imagine?
Incase you can my earnest request is to help educate the underpriveleged in ways you can. Specailly the street Children and your support may help some one learn and family could be saved. Empower the ones in need the genration young of our Nation! There are millions of bright minds and intellectuals who never get that previlege unless supported!
Remember there is no investment like Education.Let us invest for our coming generations in th right ways.
The most happiest thing for me is when i see the smile that open heart smile amidst all the tough times. Success to me in one sense means to smile through the tough times! Even if some times I did experience this , I never realised it in words that Success had this form also until one of my great mentors mentioned to me on this!
Note: I am not menitoning he is a street kid but, He does stand for all the kids in India who are not into schools and struggle to meet ends for themselves and their family. Many kids on street and some in to labour to feed their stomach and their families.
My earlier blog on this is here.

The streaks of Idependence the Colours & vibrance of India!
Happy Independence Day on the occassion of our 61st Idependence.
A true time to see the possibilities that we missed and are lying ahead!
A time to analyse how much we grew in the past 61 years from the state of nothing but a union of democracy with a million peopl to a billion strong vibrant population!
A time to jsut analyse the growth nad twists and trns we had in the past one year!
A time to think why a billion strong populations competes witht he world with jus 50 athletes and sees one gold medal as an unbeleivable achevement still (of course i respect the acheivement, but what about the rest f the 49 and the billions who cheer for sprots like Cricet for hours together and are ready to sacrifice their dutiful tmeon following the sport)
Why we slided form the top position of Hockey to the state of the curent?
What is our Medal focus for the London and the 10026 Olympics? Whe4n are we bidding for the games?
When do we say that our professions education strenght has doubled?
When will we say that all our citizen has the same goal on the national growth in their mind and are stirving for that common goal!
When will me and yo start saying.God is with us and nothing can stop us!
When will we start saying at th3e end of each day i know i and my team did something that will make my nation be stronger nad make out nation proud.
Let me say what i realised.
There isno one in this world to beat the capabilities we have in out individuals.
Our education system needs a great rampup t give a picture and target form our nation's persepective.
Out thought at self need to consider e people round too.
We can and we should never stop.
We should keep moving and increase the pace. There is nothing we cannot crask but let us do it perfrect and error free.
Let us all know and be with the Living Go and avoid idol worships and supestitions.
The power we hav is not even nearly utilised 20% for our nation yet, but a lot of ur capabilities are contributing to the humanitiy world wide.
We should know the speed of the world and the gap we have with people who were on track with us but ahead of us clearly and we need to belt up and accelerate smooth !
We should start exploding on our creativity with picture perfect desgns and products.
We al can build our naton in our own small ways every day! There is nothing else but us the people whereever we are who are the binding forces of thie peace loving, Secuar,Diverse, harmonious, vibrant, bustling, dynamic billion population democracry representing our nation and its great values of civilaisation. India is coming back to be that one time power we have been !
Let us join hands and minds to be in the build up! We are stillwrkin on foundations and we will do it slow and then the pace will be you know . Let us take steps t educvate the next genrations of ethical professionals as we have today and contribute to humanity and our nation as well!
We cannot keep crying but we need to get uop and run afterour falls and thats the challenge nad fine!
Happy Independence day to all! Rememebring all the great heroeas who struggled to get us freedom and also build us to what we are from the nothing we were!
An inspiring video added below to know and think what our potential and possibilities as an Indian and as a nation is!

Upgraded and Freshned up!
Updated my Vaio TZ with a single 2 GB card and relaced the 1 GB card. It was a tough decision as i just had a single slot on the compact TZ. Well mean while VAIO S is back witht hecable fixed and i am in the process of Recovering the machine to be as good as the Fresh one i got 2 years back. Again a tough but important decision to move on! I hope i can get everything working !
Well by the way there defenitely is a noticable enhancement in performance! But still Vista is a big disappainment in rsource utilisation and efficiency!
Well i love the musoc when the Vaio S was restored and the windows XP installation guides you through the initial setups!
Well let us see how things go! Some times you have to leave behind some things for the better as you move forward and higher and i demandingly expect everything with me to keep up the pace!

Rezokuuu!!!!
Rezokuuuu-> Refridgerator.
After the move to Kawasaki, Finding a refrigerator within my needs and quality was one of the toughest challenges i had. No doubt I had a very rough time with some Japanese traders who are pretty famous around. But the experiences were so bad that they did not even have a sense that they are dealing with powerful and potential customers.
Had made several visits to several shops and recycling guys for the fridge but never could get the right one with the right price. I was almost getting the deal done with the Japanese trader but at last he messed up putting his ignorance on what I had selected being to his place! You can imagine how brilliant these fellows can be in business despite their age! After a Long time in my life I lost respect for yet another senior person (seniors and kids usually deserve respect for reasons as per my principles).
Well it is the peak of summer in Japan and i ended up daily reaching home after the drenched walk form the station and purchasing a drink or chilled water form the Vending machine.
Almost 2 months without the Fridge and i have been praying and cooking and buying supplies on a daily basis.
At lasts spotted one on the net (after days and days of search from India and Japan) and communicated to the owner after a mutual agreement on the Fridge. I was supposed to call the next day and in the evening when I called I came to know to my weirdest surprise that the lady had sold off the Fridge to some one whom she thought was me! Damn !!!!! I was like what is going on????
But Just similar to my days after college when failure after failure struck i always believed in my strength being with my Strong and powerful Lord and been praying and hoping in faith. I just took it as per the purpose and His will and soon I see another one on line and send in a request. Amey too informs me the next day on the same offer and I confirm that this is already requested.
In 2 days Flat I received the Fridge delivered in my Kitchen thanks to the wonderful family previous owners of the refrigerator TIM and AMANDA and praise God for them and all that happened. When the deal was struck I was praising God because it came with even better things and blessings than I wanted and imagined for,.
As I always say that is our Lord. He knows what we need even before we ask and those who have faith in Him will never be despised and What God has kept in store for us, none of us can comprehend, nor imagine!
He is an awesome God. Glad to meet the family strong in their faith and also that I was given a beautiful Fridge a very new one indeed with a great Christian family introduced! Blessings! And above all Praise Him our Lord who is indeed magnificent!

A rare encounter with Maiko sans
Me and a Geisha at the Atami station. It is indeed a very tough sight unless you are in Kyot to meet a Geisha. Maiko sans were kind enough to agree for a snap with her and this is one of th most special experiences in Japan. Very authentic and deeprooted cultural aspect of this nation. I was on my way back form the camping at Oshima on a hot summer day!
To read more on Geishas and their cultural influience and the true identity, Pleae check out the Suggested reading 'Meomirs of a Geisha' or watch the Movie. Lot of the wrong prenotions would be shockingly one and it will helpt to understand their importance and worth in this eartern ortodox culture of the Japanese Island.

Camping at Izu Oshima...
A group of 8 started to Izu Oshima the Izu island for a 3 day camping trip. We took an over night boat from Tokyo to Osima. This was a trip after a real long time.was really missing the old gang but had a new crowd to ravel wit this time! Had a volcanic climb till the crater and the last time Volcano Mt. Mihara erupted was in 1986. This had led to the whole island to be evacuated to the main island Tokyo for about a month and the residents lived as refugees.
We had lot of fun in the beach and the sea around. Was a different experience in the tents and the barbeque. WE had a rough and tough time in the heat but full of fun. Note that public transport is sparse on this island and most restaurants close at 2 PM. But nature is pretty neat and peaceful and with serene blue sea all around. Most wonderful all was sleeping under the stars watching the falling stars and the magnificient creation of our Lord!
Sunday we were back on a hydro foil jet engined speed boat to Atami and then form thee to Kawasaki via Tokaido.
Check out more of the snaps here on Flickr.
