Hyderabad Experiences….

It was a real brave and tough decision to take and book tickets for a Hyderabad visit while on being in vacation in India. I was really looking forward for such a meeting as the fellowship I had been intending to meet has been special and one of the best ever since I have known them during my days at the CSI College if engineering in Ooty.

Among a 21 day vacation trip to India taking a 2 day trip to south India has been a tough and wise decision for various reasons. Most of the close circle fellowship has been looking forward to meet each other for months together and this seemed to be a perfect opportunity to catch up with all after quite a few months together.

And then we decided upon Hyderabad as the location.

Well to be frank it was really hectic to chose a date and be there, but luckily there were tickets were available and I did go for it.

What a great things for brothers in Christ to be together! WE met on 30 December 2006 morning at Hyderabad and Arun and Jeevan were the first ones to meet. Soon we were joined by Jeswin from Bangalore.

Once the guys got together we started the 2 days with an amazing bread and multi curry breakfast from Arun’s mom

We soon started for Jeevan’s residence to meet Sarah and to stay over the night at their residence.

It was fun to have the lunch together and then soon spend the evening playing guitar and singing and sharing the latest and the past.

It was indeed one of the most beautiful times we all enjoy being together. We tried to close the day with a heavy multi cuisine dinner beside the Hussain sagar lake. We did enjoy the food and time spent. Soon back at Jeevan’s house we were singing and talking til about early morning when we finally decided to catch some sleep.

We all settled down and woke up to an extra busy Sunday. WE had the breakfast special omelets and preparations from Sarah’s side. This was followed by some real quick change of plans as usual. We had to go on 2 bikes to collect Pravin a business friend from Chennai. Soon we were with him and another round of Hyderabad Biriyani – wow fabulous. We all were happy to know that he too was a believer and we had some amazing time singing together.

It was already time that I left for the airport and then soon Arun and Jeevan had to get back for a performance in the colony for God’s glory!

But few important things during the visit

- We met Jeevan and Sarah for the first time after marriage and it was a great time we all spent together.

- Hyderabadi biriyani and the gang at food J NO words to describe.

- Jeevan’s excellent guitar playing skills and partnering with Arun and Jeswin!

- The delay at airport for 3 hours and Hyderabad airport is a tough place to spent even one hour

- Arun’s baby’s picture released! The first junior in our group

- Had talks with Joseph and Daniel on phone.

- The night ride and tour of Hyderabad the cyber city – tour guide Sarah and the tour led by Jeevan!

- The weirdest traffic in India of all places I have seen and ever 5 km marked with a fresh accident!
- IN few days time I met Einstein in Mumbai for about an hour (as he is a part of the group I am including it here!)

Wonderful time and prayers we did together and the singing and praising God above all for this times together and looking for ward for all of us together doing something for God’s glory and His kingdom!
